For a quick video message or a test of your camera, Slop Recorder records the webcam and microphone in the browser, with a countdown and a trim, and keeps the file on your device.
How to do it
- Open Slop Recorder and choose Webcam.
- Tick Microphone, and pick a countdown.
- Press Record and allow the camera and the microphone when the browser asks.
- Stop, trim the start and the end, then save the video.

Questions
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, the webcam and the microphone record on phones and tablets too. Only the screen cannot be recorded there.
Which camera is used?
The one the browser picks; change it in the browser's camera settings for the site.
Is the video uploaded?
No. It is recorded on your device and stays there until you save it.
