Record your screen with your webcam in a corner
A walkthrough reads better with your face in it. Slop Recorder draws your webcam into a corner of the screen recording while you record, with your microphone, on your own computer.
How to do it
- Open Slop Recorder and choose Screen + webcam on the right.
- Pick the webcam's corner and size, and tick Microphone.
- Press Record, then pick the screen, window or tab to share. The browser asks for the camera too.
- After the countdown, record; Pause and Stop are at the foot of the panel.
- Trim the start and the end, then Download, Save to Slop Drive or Open in SlopCut.
Your files stay on this device: Slop Recorder runs in your browser, with no upload, no account and no watermark.
Questions
Does it work on a phone?
Phones and tablets do not let web pages record the screen, so Screen + webcam needs a desktop browser. The webcam and the microphone on their own work on a phone.
Is the recording uploaded?
No. The screen and the webcam are drawn together and recorded on your computer, and the file stays there until you save it.
Can I move the webcam picture?
Choose one of the four corners and a size from 10% to 50% of the width before you record.
