SlopLabel · free, in your browser

A free BarTender alternative in your browser

Design barcode and product labels, merge them with a spreadsheet and send them to a Zebra printer as ZPL, without installing label software. SlopLabel runs in a browser tab and keeps your data on your computer.

How to do it

  1. Pick a stock: Avery and Herma sheets, thermal rolls such as 4×6" or 2×1", or a custom size.
  2. Add text, pictures, shapes and barcodes: Code 128, GS1-128, EAN-13, UPC-A, ITF-14, QR, Data Matrix, PDF417 and more.
  3. Import CSV or Excel data and use counters, dates and prompts as variables.
  4. Print, save a PDF, or export ZPL, EPL2 or TSPL for thermal printers.

Not there yet: printing straight to a printer driver from the app, and ZPL tested on every printer model. SlopLabel is in beta, so test a few labels before a large run.

Your files stay on this device: SlopLabel runs in your browser, with no upload, no account and no watermark.

Questions

Yes. There is no plan, no account and no limit on labels.

Can it open BarTender .btw files?

No. It opens its own .sloplabel projects and can import ZPL, which many label tools can export.

Is SlopLabel made by Seagull Scientific?

Slopographic is not affiliated with Seagull Scientific. BarTender is a trademark of its owner, and the name is used here only to say what this app can stand in for.
