Profit is not cash. This report shows, month by month, the money that actually came into your bank and cash accounts and the money that went out.

Questions

Why is it different from profit?

Profit counts an invoice when it is issued; cash flow counts it when it is paid. Unpaid invoices and unpaid bills are in profit but not yet in cash flow.

Are moves between accounts counted?

No. A transfer between cash and the bank is left out, because no money came in or went out of the business.

Can I see profit by month too?

Yes. Pick Profit by month in the same list, or see the full profit and loss statement in Slop Ledger.
